TUESDAYS (beginning Nov 3d) Instructors Paolo & Lauren in rotation
Swing Beginner Basics Level 1 at 6pm (confirmed)
Tuesdays 4 weeks (starts Nov 3, 2009)
This class will cover everything you need to know for your Swing basics.
Swing/Lindy Level 2 at 7pm (confirmed)
Tuesdays 4 weeks
The focus will be on 6 and 8 count based circles, patterns, and connection.
Balboa Basics Level 1 at 8pm (confirmed)
Tuesdays weeks
This class will cover the main footwork patterns for the Balboa (the California Swing Dance from the 1940's), and then we'll kepp pushin it till we're looking good! Should be lots o fun.
Practice Session 9pm - 10pm when available

WEDNESDAYS Instructor Lauren
Polish your Ballroom Basics at 7pm
This class will focus on linking basic ballroom steps together to give you more comfort and enjoyment on the dance floor.
Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, and Swing!
Fee $15
Note: We just purchased a fantastic spring water cooler so you don't need to bring water and you don't need to bring a partner.

More Social Patterns Workshop

Paolo and Lauren will be teaching another fabulous social patterns workshop!
(level: 2 and up - advanced basics pre-requisite)
Split into two sections, the focus will be on social patterns and the second workshop will include new tricks, scoops and slides. Certainly bring water and perhaps a snack but you don't need to bring a partner. We will be available for privates before the workshop only.

Lauren and Paolo are filming a Lindy Review instructional this Sunday at Mad Hatter Dance. They are looking for anyone who would like to assist for about 2 hours. We have two camcorders but one is iffy. Once we are done, we are also planning a short 1.5 hour workshop on the material we are filming. Of course you would get a free copy of our DVD!
